Tragedy struck the city of Shillong yesterday evening when a devastating fire broke out in a residential building, claiming the life of one person. The incident occurred in the Laitumkhrah area, leaving residents in shock and grief.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 8 pm and quickly spread throughout the building. Neighbors reported hearing loud explosions and seeing flames shooting out of the windows.
